Ion analytes

This package imports the ‘Ions’, ‘Cations’ and ‘Anions’ analyte groups together with the analytes that belong to these analyte groups. Along with the analytes, an ‘Analyte concentration’ test is imported. Also a custom field ‘Code’ on the Analyte table is imported.

The package contains the following entities:

  • An Analyte group called Ions which contains the below analytes:

    • Bromine, Carbonate, Chlorate, Chlorine, Chromate, Cyanide, Dichromate, Dihydrogen phosphate, Fluorine, Hydrogen carbonate, Hydrogen sulfate, Hypochlorite, Iodine, Monohydrogen phosphate, Nitrate, Nitrite, Nitrogen, Perchlorate, Permanganate, Phosphate, Silicate, Sulfate, Sulfite, Sulfur, Thiosulfate, Aluminium, Ammonium, Barium, Beryllium, Calcium, Chromium, Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Mercury, Platinum, Potassium, Silver, Sodium, Strontium, Tin, Zinc
  • An Analyte group called Cations which contains the below analytes:

    • Aluminium, Ammonium, Barium, Beryllium, Calcium, Chromium, Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Mercury, Platinum, Potassium, Silver, Sodium, Strontium, Tin, Zinc
  • An Analyte group called Anions which contains the below analytes:

    • Bromine, Carbonate, Chlorate, Chlorine, Chromate, Cyanide, Dichromate, Dihydrogen phosphate, Fluorine, Hydrogen carbonate, Hydrogen sulfate, Hypochlorite, Iodine, Monohydrogen phosphate, Nitrate, Nitrite, Nitrogen, Perchlorate, Permanganate, Phosphate, Silicate, Sulfate, Sulfite, Sulfur, Thiosulfate
  • A Custom field on Analyte:
    • Code: A field of type short text which stores the abbreviation or symbol of the analyte that is being imported.
  • Test named Analyte concentration:
    • type quantity and dimension concentrationwith default unit mg/mL and ‘requires analyte’ = true.

How to use the package

The analytes will be available in the Analyte module in SLIMS once the package is installed. Each of the analytes listed above will show up as a record under its respective Analyte group(s).
