Description
This package contains several fields that represent data that is often recorded for samples in laboratories.
The following fields are included in the package:
- Volume: A field of type quantity and dimension Volume, with default unit m^3.
- Mass: A field of type quantity and dimension Mass, with default unit g.
- Concentration: A field of type quantity and dimension Concentration, with default unit g/m^3.
- Expiry date: A field of type date.
- Lot number: A field of type short text.
- Pieces: A field of type quantity and dimension Scalar, with default unit set as blank.
- Molar mass: A field of type quantity and dimension Molar mass, with default unit g/mol.
- Molarity: A field of type quantity and dimension Molarity, with default unit M.
Configuration:
- Several unit packages are available that contain more units in the dimension of each respective quantity field.
- Fields can be further configured in the Fields module.
How to Use the Package
After content types have been created in the SLIMS instance, these fields can be filled in when a new content is created.
